Sexual abuse
In every primary school class, there are 1 to 2 children who are victims of sexual abuse. In secondary school, it is even 2 to 4 children per class. Victims often show little out of shame and fear of coming out. But the harmful effects on their development can be enormous. Dr Iva Bicanic will set up the large, multi-year study on the consequences of sexual abuse in Utrecht. With the aim of being able to better help children and young people in the future. Contribute to this important research.
Every year, the Utrecht University Fund selects four projects for the Pay it forward campaign. The scholarship programme will return every year, because every year students can use a helping hand.
