Donate to Utrecht University

Sustaining innovative science requires investment. Funds are needed to invest in housing, laboratories, equipment, but most of all in people, i.e. students, lecturers and researchers from all over the world. Fortunately, over the centuries, Utrecht University has always been able to rely on the support of its alumni and others committed to the university.

The Utrecht University Fund was founded in 1886, making it the Netherlands' oldest University Fund. It has always been a place for students, employees and alumni to come together in support of a flourishing academic climate in Utrecht. The fund supports student activities and is able to cater to the special requirements of science and education in areas where government funding is not available.

The Utrecht University Fund is acknowledged as a so-called Public Benefit Organisation (PBO/ANBI) exempting it from inheritance or gift tax. That means that all funds you donate are forwarded to your preferred cause.
