Why Travel Grants Matter

Master’s students in Public International Law are the torchbearers of human rights, sustainability, and peace and security. Every year, Utrecht University attracts such talented master’s students from all over the world. Their academic journey is a quest for understanding, advocacy, and impact. But often, financial constraints hinder their ability to explore beyond textbooks and lecture halls.

Travel grants bridge this gap. They unlock doors to invaluable experiences. The grant will be used solely and exclusively to support master students in public international law when they travel internationally or within the Netherlands during the programme to participate in its activities, especially external moot court competitions and a study trip organized by the programme’s student committee. Your donation directly supports the students’ ability to network and broaden their horizons.
