Fund for Students and Scholars from Gaza/Palestine

This funding campaign was initiated on the occasion of the double inaugural lecture of Birgit M. Kaiser (Professor of Comparative Literature) and Kathrin Thiele (Professor of Gender, Culture & Ecologies) in September 2025. It aims to provide financial support for Palestinian students at Utrecht University who are experiencing difficulties as a result of the genocidal war in Gaza/Palestine. 

We very much appreciate your donation to this funding campaign, which the Executive Board of Utrecht University warmly supports. We hope that with this bottom-up initiative we can inspire the whole academic community of Utrecht University and beyond. Our goal is to actively build support structures for Palestinian (refugee) students and scholars at our university.
